The DALI RM8 HS is a compact relay module specifically designed for the direct control of 230V AC loads via the DALI bus. This module allows loads without a DALI input to be easily integrated into a DALI lighting system. The module is DALI-2 certified and supports permanent loads up to 1kW. Thanks to the zero cross switching technology, the lifespan of connected devices and the reliability of the system are increased.

Main features:

  • Compact DIN rail mounting
  • DALI-2 certified
  • Configurable via the free DALI Cockpit software
  • Zero cross switching for longer lifespan
  • Nominal load: 250V AC, maximum 2kW

Technical data:

  • Ambient temperature: -20°C to +60°C
  • Protection class: IP20
  • Connecting wire cross section: 2.5 mm²
  • Input: DALI
  • Relay output: switching voltage 250V AC
  • Maximum nominal load and circuit breaker: 1000VA and 6A max
  • Maximum switching current: 8A
  • Maximum inrush current: 40A
  • Maximum continuous current: 8A
  • Switching frequency: maximum 1Hz
  • Type of relay contact: 1 normally open
  • Number of switching operations at nominal load: >105

The DALI RM8 HS can be easily configured for different power-up and system failure behaviors using the DALI Cockpit PC software. The module provides a reliable solution for integrating non-dimmable ballasts into DALI lighting systems.
