DALI-2 Expander DIN Rail (98×17.5x56mm)

The DALI-2 Expander is a compact device designed to expand your DALI line. The device is connected to the DALI line via the DALI IN terminals and behaves like a DALI ballast with a DALI address.

The devices connected to the output of the DALI-2 Expander (DALI OUT terminals) form a DALI sub-line. The DALI operating devices in the sub-line are controlled via the address of the DALI-2 Expander. With article number 89452937-DES, the devices in the DALI sub-line can also be controlled via Switch&Dim.

The DALI-2 Expander has an integrated DALI bus power supply that can provide 200mA, depending on the device design. In addition to expanding the number of operating devices, the expander can also be used to increase the cable length by 300 meters.
