DALI PWM Interface

The DALI PWM Interface is designed to convert DALI signals into a galvanically isolated PWM signal, enabling the integration of control devices with a PWM input into a DALI system. This device is compatible with DALI Device Type 5 (IEC62386-206) and offers a choice between linear and logarithmic dimming curves.

Main Features

  • Conversion of DALI signals into PWM output signals (0-100% / 10-100%)
  • Suitable for electronic ballasts with PWM input (e.g., Meanwell HLG, HLN, NPF or LPF Series)
  • Stable digital signal transmission compared to types with analog output voltage
  • Maximum output current: 100mA
  • Maximum output voltage: 60V DC
  • PWM frequency adjustable with jumper (488Hz / 976Hz)
  • Power supply directly via the DALI line
  • Galvanic isolation between DALI and PWM output signal

Specifications

  • Dimensions: 39.7mm (L) x 28mm (W) x 14mm (H)
  • Weight: approx. 10g
  • Operating temperature: -20°C to +75°C
  • Protection class: IP20
  • Connection wire cross-section: 0.5-1.5 mm²
  • Typical DALI current consumption: 3.1 mA

The DALI PWM Interface can be configured via the DALI Cockpit and offers a switchable output voltage range between 0-100% and 10-100%. The current sink of the PWM output can handle currents up to 100mA, allowing connection of many loads with PWM input.
